1998, wow, that was a long time back. I assume technology have further improved the safety of these fliers.

Sometimes its called “Flying Lawn Mover” I took one – QuickSilver Ultralight and did a Cross country flight from Gen Santos City in Mindanao to Laoag, Ilocus North in 12 days. Mar 1998.
It made the govt realized it was a safe machine to fly… so sport flying in the philippines was born.
